Refund & Cancellation Policy
Ferrite Pro Subscription. Short version: try Pro free for 3 days with no card; if you pay and change your mind, you get a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase; cancel anytime and keep Pro until the period you already paid for ends.

1. The 14-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase a Ferrite Pro subscription and you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of your initial purchase (the first time you are charged for Pro). No justification is required, though feedback helps us improve. We refund the full amount charged for the initial term.
Payments and refunds are processed by Polar, our payment processor and merchant of record. Refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Polar; the exact timing to see funds return depends on your bank or card issuer, not on us.
To request a refund, email admin@ferritesec.com with the email address you used to purchase and your order reference from the Polar receipt. We aim to action eligible requests within 2 business days.
The guarantee covers your first paid term. It does not reset on each automatic renewal — renewals are covered under Cancellation below. Because Pro includes a 3-day free trial with no card required, you can confirm the product works for you before any charge; the guarantee still stands regardless.
2. Subscription cancellation & renewal
Pro is a recurring subscription. Unless you cancel, it renews automatically — monthly for a monthly plan, annually for an annual plan — at the then-current price for your plan. If we change the price of your plan, we will give advance notice by email before a renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
How to cancel: from the customer portal linked in your Polar purchase receipt/emails, from the License panel inside the Ferrite app (deactivate), or by emailing admin@ferritesec.com and we will action it for you.
Cancelling stops the next renewal charge. You keep Pro features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for — cancellation is not an immediate shut-off. After that period ends, Ferrite reverts to the Free tier.
Once you are outside the 14-day money-back window, cancelling mid-period does not trigger a partial refund of the period already paid — you simply retain Pro until that period expires and are not charged again, separate from any mandatory statutory pro-rata refund right you may have (see §4 below). An annual plan is one paid term; the 14-day guarantee applies to the initial annual purchase, and the window does not re-open on a later annual renewal.
3. Your data and license after a refund or cancellation
Your license credential is deactivated when a subscription is refunded or lapses, and the app reverts to Free-tier behavior. Your rules, profiles, and settings are kept locally and continue to work within Free-tier limits — refunding or cancelling does not delete your local configuration. Re-subscribing restores Pro features against the same configuration.
4. Your statutory rights are not affected
Nothing in this policy limits or removes any non-waivable consumer right you have under the law of your country or region — for example mandatory withdrawal/cooling-off rights or statutory refund rights in the EU/EEA, UK, or elsewhere. Where such law gives you a stronger right than this policy, that law applies; this policy is offered in addition to, not instead of, those rights. Where you expressly consent to begin using paid digital content immediately and acknowledge losing a statutory withdrawal right, that right may not apply — but our voluntary 14-day guarantee in §1 still does regardless.
5. When we issue a refund outside the 14 days
Even after the 14-day window, contact admin@ferritesec.com if you were charged for a renewal you had cancelled, charged in error or double-charged, or you are entitled to a refund under mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction. We will investigate and, where the claim is valid, refund the affected charge.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in deactivation of the associated license while the dispute is investigated.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes (e.g. to the refund window or renewal terms) are notified per the change process in the Terms of Service. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
